Does anyone have experience or knowledge of how to attach the racks for solar panels to a flat SIP roof.  I have 12 inch SIP panels supported by 12 inch wood I beams on 24 inch centers.  Except for the outer SIP wall and the center wall I do not see where I could get a secure mount for the solar panels.  Thanks for any help you can provide.  Dennis

A secure mount is one issue the other is creating a leak. What is the exteror finish over the panels?

I believe you're asking this of the wrong people. It's the makers of the solar panels and the mounting racks that have a vested interest in the performance of their product on all types of roofs. Similar to siding and roofing product. Don't ask the SIP manufacturer. As the maker of the roofing or siding how it should be attached knowing the type and thickness or gauge of substrate.

Can it be done? Yes. Have done many style mounts for solar based on fastening data provided by others. It's a simple calculation that involves wind speed, exposure and fastener pull-out data.

Not a complicated thing to do, just use the SIP's screws for the attachment. 24" on center is more than enough for solar panels, I have done it on 4' centers. If the brackets used for the raking system doesn't accomdate the sizing of the sips screws simple find a lag bolt long enough to penetrate into the support beams.
As for leaking problems, there are some great systems for counter flashing the brackets for the racking system. Just don't let any installer tell you that simply adding some silicon will do the trick, this will fail and so will your roof. here is an example of one flashing system, but most if not all mounting systems have some method of flashing.
