Anyone have a rough idea what the installation costs are for radiant floor heat in a slab on grade?  The site is located on the Illinois side fo St. Louis...

Thanks,

We design and quote these type of systems regularly. your missing a few parts of the puzzle to provide a real number,
square footage, are you planing on 2 inch rigid insulation, is this commercial or residential application, slab thickness, building type, heat loss available, fuel,
That's the start point. Short answer is pipe is not to expensive and can not be placed after the slab is cast.

Dan,

Thanks for the response.  My situation is as follows:

- 900 SF

- 4" slab

- 2" rigid or insultarp (have not decided)

- liquid propane and solar HW system (depends on bids)

- residential - this part of my new home w/ living, dining, kitchen, office.

- don't know heat loss, but this part of home will be 2x6 w/ icynene

Thanks,

PW
