| Hames Project Posted By Matt_M on 07/27/2008 Still evaluating my options on the roof - ICF or wood with tile??? Not decided on the final floor plan. Some trees may have to be removed to make room for the wide driveway and pad.
Need to get costs for ICF and concrete as well as interior walls. Any thoughts? (Reply)
| Re: Hames Project Posted By htmayo on 08/05/2008 Depending upon the complexity of the roof, SIP's would be a good system, much easier and less costly than ICF. As for ICF costs, Foxblock publishes their costs online, and you could get a concrete quote from either AVR or Cemstone, but you would need to know exactly what you are ordering, (yards of concrete, Number of pours, mix specs, etc.). Don't forget your steel. I'm in the area and could help, if you need it.
