Plans have been momentarily stalled due to not being able to properly fit the appropriate number of trenches on my property. A Vertical loop system install is apparently more expensive here due to the amount of casing needed in each bore hole due to the very high water table. I've been quoted $13,000 for 3 holes due to the amount of casing. I currently have a well that is already pipes into the house that was the original well, before being relocated. The horizontal slinky plans were to dig the trenches, but I fall just shy of having the proper width to fit the amount of pipe needed and to ensure proper thermal conduction. I have a 1 acre property, with the house smack in the middle of it. Other issues that complicate the space issues is a buried septic area. (Reply)
