Method 1: Corners-in: set corners first, work inward, cuts at an opening

Method 2: Corner-corner: set corners first, go right from a corner, cuts at next corner

Method 3: Perimeter: set one corner, work around in circle, cut the corners

When you're using block, work from corners to openings (from corners to middle). This will eliminate alot of cutting. The cuts you make to fit up to the opening will also adjust to the length of the wall, so you make one cut instead of two.
