Picking a crew for SIP building

You will need at least one carpenter on with SIP building experience. If others at the site have basic carpentry skills, they'll pick up the basics in several hours. But there are tricks and sequences that require experience in order to avoid bad experience.

If no one with SIP building experience is available, other options include:

• hiring an experienced SIP builder from out of town to help you place the SIP portions of your project;
• have the manufacturer send an experience installer to your site who will help place panels and train other personnel at the site;
• find a SIP manufacturer who will provide full shell-erection services on your floor or foundation system.
