i am heating my house with geo-thermoheat,  using a 3 ton water to air unit with a desuper heater to cool in the summer time and heat and make hot water in the winter, to desuperheater will be plumbed direct, circulating my domestic water. i am also using a 2 ton water to water to heat 2 zones, my basement floor, which i want to keep my basement around 21 gegrees celcius, and also heat my garage floor, keeping the garage just above freezing, warmer on the odd occasion that i need to do some work in there. now i also want to use my water to water to heat my hot water in the warmer 2/3 of the year when the desuperheater will not meet my DHW needs. i plan on using a plate style heat exchanger since the water to water will be circulating a antifreeze solution. havnt decided on how many plates to use yet, leaning towards 40 to 50 plates.  what kind of control unit and distribution system would work best for this?

I thought the desuperheater would provide you hot water during the cooling season (using the heat pulled out of your house prior to discharging it to the ground loop) rather than the heating season.

yes, except the cooling season is pretty short up here in the great white north, but there is several months of 'mild climate' where a very minimal amount of heating or cooling is needed. i was thinking of setting the water to water units portion of the hot water to about 10 20 gegrees colder than the desuperheater's, this will alow the desuperheater to 'top up' my 85 gallon storage tank.
