Hello Everyone,

We are in the design process of building a ICF home with insulated concrete roofing.

I am planning to use Hydronic radiant floor heating and Mitsubishi CITY MULTI VRFZ System with their Lossnay Energy Recovery Ventilators.
The home will be built in NJ and would be around 3500 sft. The heating would cover the basement and garage.

I would like to know from you experts what do you think on my choice of heating and cooling.

Also, could you please tell me what would be the cost for installing hydronic radiant floor heating for a 3500 sft ICF home.

Thanks,
Sai

Not experienced with that particular unit.

Have you checked into a geothermal heating and system to see how it compares?

Thanks

We will be glad to provide a quote on the radiant side of your house. There are currently a lot of choices for the heat plant and your needs and budget will determine what works for you.
With in floor heat your options for high efficiency boilers, Geothermal or air to air heat pump are the best options. If you are doing cooling as well you will need an air side to the system. This is a good place to hit the air filtration, Heat ventilation recovery needs as well.
