I have an in-slab radiant system for a new house installed for 2000 SF of basement. When I was away the electricity went off & the system froze. The PEX tubing cracked (it is visibly split) & burst the concrete in about 10 spots. It appears the concrete will need to be chiseled out & the PEX cut & have about a 6" connection made to replace the cracked pieces. What are the best connectors for this repair & what else should be checked.
