Hi experts: I'm considering buying a 1928 1.5 story house with 2-pipe steam radiator system. It has a Burnham gas boiler, about 12 years old. The rad's are (or seem) very nice, tall, ornate. Would it be worth converting this to a hot water system? This is in the upper (cold) midwest. Can the existing pipes be used? I understand you have to pressure test the system to see how many leaks there are etc.. Thanks for any input! -m
