Hello:

I was wondering if the link to the image below is how I should lay the floor for a radiant heating setting.  I am assuming we don't heat fiber cement backer boards because we will be using Gypecrete.  Am I correct? I need someone's help to confirm this.

Gypcrete is a Maxxon label and one of the first radiant floor advocates (Founder of the RPA Larry Drake was the lead man).

"INFLOOR" is a trademark of Maxxon and nearly wrote the book on radiant floor heating in the USA. Though the enthusiasm may not be as great as it was when Larry Drake was at the helm, the body of knowledge remains. I design systems using Gypcrete and radiant floor heating, starting with a heat load and CAD drawing for tubing layout.
