I am building my own house. I am using PEX C made in USA, for domestic and radiant heat. What are the best, or best value in connectors and fitting. I bought the crimp rings with the tool and "go or no go" gauge.

Are you talking about the stainless steel or copper crimp rings? There are numerous systems out there.

I've used the Zurn long handled crimpers used with the copper rings on several projects over the past 4 years.

Problem I've been having on a close quarters project, is accessing the fitting when you have to open the crimpers to almost 180 degrees. There is a 7" crimper that is used with 10" vise grip pliers for hard to reach areas. I've had good success with those and find they are easier to align the ring with the fitting.

No leaks on a 4 year old plumbing project with the copper rings. Cheers, Dave
