Does anyone know of a dual LP/Electric boiler for radiant? If not has anyone worked up both an electric and LP boiler to run a system? Looking into take advantage of off peak rate for electric use.

Thanks Dave

We distribute a Thermolec electric boiler. It has a built in control that senses some sort of a line pulse (I am not clear on exactly how it works) but it lets the boiler know when rates are lower and them will turn on ahead of the propane unit. This will only work automatically with a utility service that provides the "pulse".
This is the only auto way I know of.
Alternately you could work in a couple programable thermostats or timer of some sort to interrupt the TT connection in the boiler at a given time so it would not come on.
