I wasn't trying to be mean, but this project seemed to be steaming full-throttle down a track of unknown destination, with too many places to derail.

I'd love to see it all work out in the end, but I confess I'm not hopeful given how it was presented. DIYers can get there if they're willing to study up and do the math, but this was looking like too much "execute now, design later".

I can't say the initial installer was very impressive either, but they're out there...
