I've been doing a significant amount of research in trying to find a Geothermal solution to heat my home. Presently I have electric baseboard heating which is inefficient, expensive and dangerous. My home is finished and I would like to keep interior renovations to a minimum. I know there are limitations with partnering a geothermal system with radiator coils, however, in the course of my research I came across a product called 'Heating Edge'. Does anyone know anything about this product and if so could they share that information?

I have not used it but will be using in on an upcoming geothermal project. A gentleman who works for us used it in his past life and was pleased with it on a geothermal application. Make sure you do the design math correct to figured out what size you need for each room based upon your water temps.

the output of heating edge is not really any better than any high output baseboard product. Every manufacturer has something similar. You still will probably find it less cost effective to hit geo temp water than you would using panel radiators, and it would be less comfortable to boot. only advantage might be form factor.

Rob is right and they are a pain to install unless you have two experienced installers and they come to you in one piece to start with. We use panel radiators for most retrofit hydronic jobs as they match can be sized to fit our low all of our low temperature hydroni
heating designs including geo-thermial (more correctly ground-source) , solar and condiensing boiler designs.

Do you have a recommended panel radiator?

Most are comparable. We are using Myson these days but there are plenty of options.
