I apologize if this is wrong to post, but since I'm not asking money.. I have extra Radiant Floor panels ( Thermalboard ) http://www.thermalboard.info/ . These are for retrofit for pex under floor heat. Will include some 3/8 Pex line that goes into panels. (may or may not be enough for loop) I have about 170 sq ft worth left.. I have 16 Straight, 10 Combo & 6 ends .. Wrong solution for direct over concrete (I learned hard way) You must pick up, I'm in Sterling, VA. Tom 240.674.3438

What was your experience?

One word, Expensive. Concrete slab, above grade, 30 years old with no moisture problems...(I glued boards down using a all in one moisture barrier glue just in case) One small leak above... MDF loves water.. will suck it in.. absorb it all.. and bulge the wood floor on top, and causing odor issues. Plus, Direct over concrete slab(mines uninsulated) I find that a lot of the heat goes into the slab so you don't get fast reaction. If I were to do it again, I'd install the thermalboard over 1/2" or 3/4" rigid foam on top of concrete, and screw it down. I will never ever ever glue anything to concrete again. 2 people, 450sq foot, took 10 hours with a floor/tile remover, it worked but no where as easy as all the promotional video's.
