Hi, I am roughing-in for an electric boiler that will have OR.

Are these normally just on a reasonable length (<100') of 18/2 LVT wire? I seem to recall many moons ago working with thermistors(?) which were calibrated to the included wire length (meaning you couldn't cut or extend it). (I just watched a Tekmar OR installation on ToH where they used plain old wire).

The manufacturer tells me just use 18/2 but I didn't get a "warm fuzzy" feeling from that convo and don't want to be trying to fish is through later.

Anyway what do you normally wire OR (and other thermostat outdoor sensors) with?
