I read about simular models before, I have a plug in type that monitors power used by what ever it plugged into it. As for monitoring the whole house, it doesn't offer anything you couldn't do yourself by going outside reading you meter and pluggin you numbers into an excel spreadsheet to figure out what your bill is / will be. But I could find uses for it by monitoring individual circuits, like the heater or dryer. What's nice about it is you could measure a circuit for a few months then move onto the next curcuit and monitor that one for a few months. Thanks for the link.
