I am a homeowner in Bristol, TN. I  hired one of their reps to put in GeoThermal  system in 2002. Loops  were put in vertical. Their install experts were comprised of a "factory trained" installed who had never put in ANY type of heating system. The install was "overseen" by a Gema Tiller from Missouri. Anyway, within days the system shut down. The "factory trained" teamed could  not fix it. Ms. Tiller wanted no part of it. The system was put in wrong, wrong size lines, pinched off duct work, etc etc. Had to hire a former ECR man (4 hours  away) to totally redo  system. Factory (nothwithstanding the fact that they put improperly trained installers in the field) said "its not our fault).

Now, just this weekend, I found out that the system is leaking underground (either the loops for the manifold). So, after sinking thousands after the original install I  have had  it. Going back to airsource. Bottom line, think very carefully about Earthlink's approach to  customer satisfaction. I found out the  hard  way they really dont care.

I would suggest you give Jerre Wilson a call at EarthLinked Technologies. He's the executive VP. I can't imagine that they haven't or won't try to make it right.

I would like to point out, too, that the EarthLinked product works wonderfully when installed correctly. It's disheartening to hear that you've had such a bad experience.

I'm a sales rep of EarthLinked myself. We've had tremendous support from EarthLinked. Your situation is certainly a huge exception to the rule. We've worked with EarthLinked for about 7 years now. I have seen first hand that EarthLinked completely stands behind their product, even when the system had been mis-applied or mis-installed.

Please give Jerre a call and keep us informed on what you find. His number is: 863-701-0096 (office) or 863-944-1265 (cell).

Michael Large, attorney from Britsol, TN hired his father, Roger Large - a Dealer trained by ECR Technologies, Inc. - to install the DX geothermal systems in his personal residence. The allegations made by attorney Michael Large surrounding the initial installation & subsequent service of the systems mentioned in his recent posting will soon become an issue for the Tennessee State Bar Association to deal with as this matter is being turned over to them via formal complaint. A fascinating note here, when attorney Michael Large filed law suits regarding the DX systems in question, his father Roger Large was excluded from the suits.

Update since my original post. ECR managment has offerered to send one of it's best techs to repair and replace improperlly installed equipment. They have already sent the tech to scan the situation and have promised to come back next week to make the repairs.

Base upon my conversations with upper mananagment in Florida, it seems that "customer satisfaction" is important to them. I have much hope that this last chapter will close with a happy ending.
