hi everyone i am a new member from michigan and i am installing a geothermal system into my personal residence

i purchased a 5 ton Heat Controller brand furnace (HRH060) and hope to order my slim jim for my pond this week

the thing i cant figure out is how the heck the circulating pump gets wired into the system so it knows when to turn on and off?

with a closed loop system it doesnt seem like i need any type of automatic valves or anything just need the ability to turn the pump on and off.

how does everyone elses work?

does the pump get AC power from the fuse panel and have some kind of dc switch built in that gets activated by the furnace?

I am nor familiar with your brand.

On most heat pumps you pull power for the circulating pumps from the compressor relay inside the heat pump. That way when the compressor kicks on the circulating pump starts up.

Hope this helps

If your heat pump runs on 220V then you need a 200V circulating pump.

We buy our circulating pumps here.
