I have been researching geothermal since May and found Earthlinked is the solution for my application.  Last August they increased prices by 10% or 15% due to the price of copper.  Now that copper is less than half what it was then are they dropping prices anytime soon?  Maybe a rebate at least?

I haven't heard of the manufacturer dropping the price yet that I know of. Clark could probably input here...

Where do you ive.

Have you contacnted Joe Parson the VP for sales or the sales rep for your area. How much of a savings are you looking at. It may be better to go with the price and factor in your HVAC savings.

I live in Rhode Island. The savings would be significant in my application. The 10% increase is costing me upwards of $1600 and could be up to $3000. If this install goes well then I will be doing at least one more property of the same size and I have five others with potential applications. Thank You, marc

As far as I know, there aren't any decreases on the horizon. I know that they waited years before taking a huge jump in price in 2007. They had just been absorbing the increases in material costs. It got so bad, though, that they had to raise the price. They absorbed a lot more of copper increases, too, since then. I don't know what the future holds for copper, and I don't know if EarthLinked has already purchased copper for the next year or so or not...

Anyway, I'd love to see it decrease, too, but I don't expect it to.
