A local earthlinked dealer came out and fixed my ageing gsdx sytem yesteray. He replaced the leaking A-coil and installed my replacement desuperheater. All seemed fine last evening and the shower water was noticably warmer this morning. That's a good sign as the desuperheater heats the tank water hotter than the thermostat on the water heater is set for. Makes it easy to tell where the house heat is going. My log house breathed a sigh of relief last evening as well. With all the rain and humidity lately the house was seriously swollen up. Some of the cabinet doors wouldn't close without hitting together. Ran the AC for the evening last night and dried the place out a bit. One more repair off the list! I plan on adding a buffer tank between the desuperheater and the water tank soon.
