What are the current requirements for electrical upgrading or new application design for operating a 4, 6 & 8 tonne heat pump system?

Go to waterfurnace.com and download an Envision spec manual. Pretty easy access to PDF files and numbers will be close for most brands.

It's also important to remember that the Aux/Backup heat is often a separate circuit, that often is as big, if not a larger circuit requirements as the heat pump itself.
