The home I purchased 15 years ago had two Enertran Geothermic heating systems, one for the house and another for the indoor pool. The home unit was replaced last year with a Water Furnace unit and I am very happy with the product. The second Enertran unit  heats the pool, demudifies the air and heats/cools the room is in need for replacement. Both systems are open loop.

The contractor that installed my  Water Furnace unit originally thought it would be an easy replacement. Unfortunately, he has not been able to find a quality product that does the same job as the existing Enertran unit. Water Furnace does not have a product for indoor pools.

Anyone have any ideas of a high quality product that would be suitable for an indoor pool room? If i cannot find a single unit that does everthing, I am willing to consider two units, one for the pool water and a second unit for pool room HVAC.

Pool size is about (14x36'), the room is 20x50 with a ceiling of 18feet. The location is Montreal, Quebec (cold). The south and west facing walls are glass, north facing is brick. The water temperature from the well is about 54F and the pool is normally kept at 85F. The pool is covered when not in use.

Thanks,

Pool units are unique.... and usually much larger for school/city pools.

Find a local rep for a company like Desertaire,  Poolpak, or Munters.  Some of their smaller water cooled products would work fine on a geo loop... they just might not be small enough.
