ARE YOU KIDDING ME??
The difference between a factory supported warranty vs. one supported by a small cambridge company is HUGE. How do you know that in the future geosmart is able to cover that warranty? I'd be nervous about a warranty only backed by a small company like geosmart.

I don't think they are as small as you think they are... They boast a 40000 sq dt warehouse and have been leading the industry in canada for last 3 years.

Oh and let me add in the 6 years I've been selling their products and 350+ installs. I've only had problems with one machine. In the end it was a problem caused by one of my employees and instead of denying me warranty like I have had done to me by the other previous brands mentioned. Besides that its the support I'm after as a contractor and with geosmart its the best by far I've ever had. If I'm stumped and in a customers place I have 7 cell phone numbers to call (which I may add is the first thing they give to you in training classes, whether your a dealer for them or not). I've had them give me and my customer support christmas morning. Who else does that?

Will we lose any benefit by staying Nextenergy over Geocomfort? They mentioned the electrical is on top for Geocomfort so if you get water in your basement your better off, however this is a brand new basement on a hill so I hope to not have flooding issues. Difference between the two in cost is $550 + gst so not a huge $ saver in the end.

I think we lost the real point here which is: dealer, Dealer, DEALER!
Both brands will serve well if installed a maintained by one of the good guys. Neither will perform if installed by a hack.
If you have faith in your dealer and have done your homework, go with the brand they carry.
