Definately a WFI product.
Hmmm no fan fare?
Lots of companies will subdivide a market to maximize footprint. GM has lots of lables....Buick, Chevy etc. Years ago Smirnoff vodka came up with Popov at a lower price to grab another tier of the market (if I remember correctly).

Another water furnace product with the support of major distributors sounds like they are doing just that and changing their business model some for those who don't want to be factory direct.
Regarding support or ratings, I don't know what the warranty (length or terms) is but it is WFI backed.

Don't know that it is cheaper.
Most heat pumps are within a few hundred dollars of one another. Since most of the money is spent on everything else, a cheaper heat pump will have little impact on consumer "installed" price.
Biggest thing to watch for is new dealers with new products. As distibutors try to take market share they will try to attract more dealers to the industry. Check references and bio.

Good Luck,
Joe
