You would think that Water Furnace would have a dog in that fight. Even if the warranty has expired, they should try to protect their brand image. So far, none of my projects have had any problems with geothermal including Water Furnace. I have seen some postings by other people about having problems.

No WF units are not junk, and your experience as you describe it is not typical. Are you still working with the installing contractor? He is the one most able to remedy this for you.
