I am hoping this is a basic question... Is there a recommended temperature to set my Waterfurnace Hydronic unit at, for a radiant floor application? If further information is necessary, I will do my best to provide this information (model number, size of home, pictures, etc.). Thank you?

The lowest possible temperature. The lesser the temp, the higher the efficiency. If the temp necessary for the coldest days is above 110F, I would suggest using an outdoor reset, which monitors the outdoor temperature to raise or lower your buffer tank temperature and can provide substantial savings.

Is it a water to water unit? or is it a SDV unit?
It's 120 degrees max. But i wouldn't even get close to 115 degrees for your unit's longevity sake. If it's a slab floor, then your in luck; your water should not be over 100 degrees if it is designed correctly.

dolphin, The set temperature will depend on the design of the radiant floor application. We would suggest contacting the installing contractor to discuss your inquiry, as they will be most familiar with the design and installation. WaterFurnace International, Inc.

Thank you for your responses. A geothermal service person is looking into our water to water unit today. We will see what they have to say... I will report on their findings later.
