I received my Tranquility 27 3-ton horizontal unit the other week. I am in the process of installing the unit and I have ran into two questions that I was hoping the community might be able to help with.

1. There was a red danger tag that states, "Installer Caution Damage Will Occur if shut-off valve is closed while unit is in operation." I have looked everywhere on the unit and I am unable to find any type of shut-off valve. Is the shut-off valve referring to the loop field valve, or is there one inside the unit that needs to be opened that is tied to the refrigeration system? Either way, any help would be greatly appreciated.

2. I am installing a Honeywell IAQ unit with an Equipment Interface Module (EIM). I have everything hooked up, but I am wondering how I should connect the dehumidify terminal on the Tranquility unit to the EIM module. (See first Diagram Below). I was wondering if this terminal on the Tranquility 27 is activated via a 24V DC signal--such as the one that I have highlighted on the second image? My intention was to use the Aux2 terminal of the EIM board and have that connected directly to the DEHUM terminal on the unit, but I'm not sure if this will work. Since there are only two conductors running from the thermostat to the EIM module, I don't know what output the EIM will activate when the humidistat calls for de-humidification. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

After taking another look at the EIM documentation I realized that I need to use U1 and U2 terminals for the dehumidify option. I'm still in need of info for the first question if there are people out there knowledgeable enough yo help answer that. Thank you in advance.

They are referring to a shut off valve(s) that you will install. There is nothing in the cabinet to mess with. Its just another way of saying "make sure water can flow through the unit before you start it up"

I thought that it was something like that--I'll be sure that those valves are never closed. Thanks for a thorough response with photos.
