I have attached a portion of my flow diagram I am working on for my home.

I have a packaged and split system in the basement that both have DSH options - They will feed a 50 gal storage tank and them progress to my water heater ( AO Smith HYB-90N Hybrid )

I have put check valves on the DSH Supply lines and wanted to see if there was anything else I was missing  - the remainder of the valvinf is per the climatemaster diagram.

Thanks in advance
Dave

I also plan on using 1/2" copper to the tank - would both supply and return lines be hot without the pump running?

Make sure your check valves are rated for the correct temperature. Most check valves at supply houses are only rated for 100F. Just ask for a heating check valve.
