Experiencing this technology for the first time.
Preliminary designs from the representative state a fast response terminal panel, yet water temperatures required for this performance are 115F/47F for heating and cooling respectively.
Piping arrangements call for an actuated mixing valve to provide desired water temperatures, rather than a combination of variable speed mixing circulator coupled with an injection circulator.
Just curious is anyone here has experienced this brand of RH&C equipment/systems, and what their thoughts are.
Of course, it was intended for the client to utilize a SCW W2W heat pump to perform the plant needs. Now the project is moving towards A2W heat pumps.
Location is Berkshires, MA. Design Day HL is 51,000 btuh and CL is 55,000 btuh.
Latent cooling loads is handled by a fan coil coupled with an ERV w/ built in DH Dx coil. Very low cfm airflow from the proposed setup.
Latent cooling loads is in the 1 ton range. |
