Hello All: My first post on this board. I was wondering how you shut down the desuperheater pump. The dealer told me that the switch on the lower left (of the main access panel) marked DHW SW2, if placed in the off position shuts off the pump. But when I did that, it got very hot with no water in the lines, so I assumed it was still working and that this switch is not the right one. Thanks. BillX

Why do you want to shut it off?

I suspect that pulling the wire to the pump would shut it off :-).

I shut if off when I'm there for a short period, because if I don't, when I leave I have to close down the entire system and blow out the lines with a compressor. It takes several hours and not worth the small dollars saved. It's true that pulling a wire would work but I was wondering if there was a simpler way. Thanks
