Hi Folks, I have a HydroHeat Mega-Tek TS with the water heating option installed in my home since 2010. Its dip switches are set to sample the DHW every 5 minutes to heat the water as necessary. Rarely in the past but now around 6 times in the past month or so, in the morning we find the discharge lockout LED blinking and the system is not heating the water. Removing / restoring power will reset things and then it runs fine. The manual says this is due to the hot gas temp being above 265 for 15 seconds. I was poking around on forums and one place it was recommended to change the air filter, which mine did need, so did that today. Wondering if anyone out there has had experiences with this problem. Going to have my HVAC guy give it a once over anyways. This is our 2nd HydroHeat unit. First one was installed in 1994 and lasted until 2010. It had to be replaced, as best I remember, because it had corroded inside the heat exchanger which was leaking coolant.
