I have a ClimateMaster Tranquility 30, 2 stage geothermal system. I notice that the Flow Rate on the thermostat says: Flow Rate N/A. But the system is working fine and producing heat. The temp of water coming in is about 6 degrees warmer than the temp of water going out. Shouldn't the flow rate register some value other than N/A?

That may be an option within the tstat that needs an additional sensor in the heat pump or flow center.

Yes, not sure if the flowmeter is installed, or wired, or the needed other hardware is installed.

6 degree F delta T sounds about right that your unit has the correct amount of flow

Spoke to ClimateMaster tech and he said it shows N/A until the watts gets above 50 or so on the pump wattage and it's currently only reading 38. The system is providing heat, but I was curious about the indicator.

Why would it do that? Why would you not display a lower wattage. Does not make much sense. You can easily display a fraction of watt if desired. BS meter should be on alert.

I agree with you about the meter but it's what the tech at CM told me....it doesn't display readings below 50! Don't know why that would be the case. In any event, it does seem like there's water flow with a delta of 6 degrees between inflow and outflow, and the house is warm, so I'm OK, I guess.
