Has anyone seen a buffer tank rust that used glycol in the radiant floor system. Mine is 50 gal and 8 yrs old.

If you need a new tank, then consider Rheem Marathon water heater that does not need an anode. I think it is available in electric mode only. "Tank is built to last for as long as the homeowner owns their home, and backed by a lifetime warranty"

Thanks for the recommendation but mine doesn't have an issue yet. I am wondering if glycol will rust a buffer tank eventually or is it not corresive unlike water?

I just had a Watts small tank rust through the other day. Only 4 years old. Junk
