we are doing a houise right now, and the excavation was screwed up a little.  So instead of the house and garage steps being spread apart buy at least a 20 ft, they are all together.  One consecutive step after another, about 8 in total.  And they are barley even 2 ft apart, but they are 16 1/2 inch steps, so it should work out shouldn't it? Or is that far to many steps, to close together?

What type of foundation blocks are you using? What are their dimensions? Is the height of the steps correct for that block system? With the steps so close together, I would be more concerned with forming the steps correctly. So much work so close together tends to lead to mistakes during the forming process. I would consider re-excavating so that these many single steps are made into fewer double or triple height steps. Less prone to mistakes in forming.

Want to understand what you're describing. Could you post a diagram or a photo to better explain? Thanks Dave
