Hi, first post. wish i could find some people like yall in town. but most seem clueless to the unconvintional.
I want to spray open foam in new const. most think I need a 2 stage to take care of the humidity. which is 2x as much. and also I hear they dont make small 2 stage units. (I thought Ive seen 2ton?. I need 1/ 1/2 ton x 3) so i would have to oversize.
1) can I get away with single stage, with just a outside air intake?
2) single stage with an erv
3)single stage with a dehumidifier.
Thank you

Hey chadclement, welcome to the forum. I'm not an HVAC expert, so unfortunately I can't answer your questions. But I'm building a steel SIPS house in Louisiana right now. Where you at?

Chad;
I have a 2-1/2 ton variable speed heat pump in my home, a single stage will work with dehumidifier. I have an ERV but rarely run it, in my next house I will use a 4" round freshair intake with damper
