can anyone see any potential drawbacks in combining this with steel frame ? i've seen a few buildings constructed with this system and it looks good. they wrap the steel beams with the styrofoam to eliminate thermal bridges and they clip the galvanized steel wire over the foam before rendering

the rendering is thick and gives a feeling of solidity to the wall.

the insulating properties seem to be excellent.

I like the look of it, but my only concern is that all that styrofoam would be a fire hazard.

appreciate any opinions from the 'learned elders' here
