I am looking at finishing my basement and was going to go with wood studs and fiberglass insulation. Found product called InSoFast. This product seems too good to be true. I agree with the products pros. I can not find any negatives. Two years ago I put Drylock on the walls. The house is 8 years old and I have not had any water in the basement. I installed the Drylock to be proactive So I am worried that the PL Premium adhesive will not bond the product to the wall. The last thing that I do not want to do is to half to rip out the product and start all over again. Looking for any ones that has installed it and what they felt were the pros and cons.

As a DIY project, price it out against using roofing EPS or fiber-faced iso held in place with 1x furring through-screwed to the foundation wall with Tapcons or similar. Normally adhesive alone would not meet code for securing the ignition-barrier gypsum in place. InSoFast has some labor-saving advantages (particularly as the installers become more experienced with the product, I'd think), but there are other methods of getting there. (I used R19 3" iso reclaimed from factory roofing demolition + furring at a fraction of the material cost. There are often local dealers in reclaimed roofing foam.)

You could alway test it, take anything 2-4 feet long glue it to the wall. Try to pull it off, see if the dryloc comes off or what happens.
I think we talked on the phone.
