I have a customer who is building a home and are putting in a ground source heat pump, air purification, multi zone system and a lifebreath HRV, however they are on the fence about spray foam.

They have read that people hated their spray foam and removed it due to health and VOC issues, I have told them this is more than likely due to poor ventilation or not being aware that ventilation was needed and that their house will be find with the ventilation unit we specified to do 3-5 air changes per day. Does spray foam itself put off VOC's or is it just poor ventilation in a Spray foam home that they are reading about. They are spending an extra 10K on the spray foam system and they don't want it to negatively affect the health of the home as health is priority number 1, efficiency is number 2.
