I'm replacing and old oil fired boiler with a natural gas boiler.
I've received a few quotes and one is a Quietside dual purpose water heater DPW 120A
Anybody have a review of this type system? Pro's --Con's
Thank you, Tommaso

What is the warranty and what is the installer saying about their experience with them? New? Unproven? Cheap? Reliable?

Size matters. Warranty is only as good as local support. Quietside boilers are late comers to the US codensing boiler market. Look to the contractor's experience with combi-boilers. Don't accept the low bid for premium jobs.

I own a Quietside QXM8 condensing oil boiler and found it to be an excellent unit with good support from the dealer.

The pipe threading was British v NPT so that was a problem that required a liberal application of Expando. The threadings may have changed since my purchase.

I realize that you are looking at a different unit. I would buy the brand again with no qualms.
