That is helpful thanks! My parents have a damp concrete issue in their basement. A contractor said the possibility of mold is pretty great beneath the surface and they should really get it taken care of sooner than later. It's good to know he wasn't just trying to squeeze every penny out of them but that there actually is a real problem. They've since hired him and we'll see what he can do about the mold.
