I live in a manufactured home and was warned when i had installed about moisture. I guess they are really tight. Its a 2680 ft triple wide with two FAU units. My windows in the winter are getting condensation on the bottom and have developed mold. So i have cracked windows, ran my exhaust fans more but am looking for more of a global solution.

So that has led me to an HRV. I feel like my net research has me understanding the implementation pretty well. I am gonna go with a integrated solution with my hvac ducting. I know its not the best but don't want to invest too much. From the Fantech site it sounds like this acceptable.
I plan on just running it every hour for a few minutes to exchange the air and have it linked to the FAU fan.

My only question right now is fresh air option location. My current furnace has a fresh air vent plumbed to roof. Can I use this?

Any help appreciated

Condensation forming on the bottom of glass is a common problem especially in tight homes in colder climate zones. The glass surface temperature is coldest at the bottom portion of the glass. To alleviate problem one must know glass temperature and dewpoint temperature of the interior of home.If you have excessive moisture from showers, live plants or resperation from the occupants then HRV might be a good option.Often air distribution from the registers blowing across the glass will solve the problem. As far as using outdoor vent going to furnace, make sure this is not combustion air. What model and make of furnace do you have.Tight homes should be using sealed combustion or if not should be isolated in a sealed mechanical room.
