Should I cover the FS around windows, or no?
I have a strip of Tyvek tucked under the housewrap at the top to cover the top of the window, with a 4-6" length past each side.
I figure if the 1x4s get a little wet, it is unlikely the wetness will reach the window frame on the inside of the furring strip? Plus with the cavity promoting drying, I assume it's fine.
I googled tapes and the 3M window tape seemed to be a good tape for windows and taping to exposed wood. So I got a bunch of that. |
