I have a waterfurnace envision 3.5 ton 2 stage geothermal heat pump (installed in 2010). I just got an ecobee 3 and during setup it asked me if my o/b valve is energized on heat or cool. Any ideas what I should pick? Thanks!
Geothermal: Waterfurnace
Solar: ~7kW panels

figured it out the hard. way. The system was cooling instead of heating. The correct answer is energized on cool.
Geothermal: Waterfurnace
Solar: ~7kW panels
