Hi there! I’m a producer at a television production company called Raw. Please see a link to our website - www.raw.co.uk We make a shows for a range of US Networks including Discovery, History, and National Geographic. We are currently working on a new idea for a major US network (for American television) about people who live life off-grid. Drawing on the increasing popularity of this new way of living we will follow these courageous families who have begun their journey moving off grid (perhaps they have been off grid for some time) and learn about their reasons, their achievements so far and also the challenges they have faced moving to the wilderness to live this new American dream. Each episode in the series will feature a different off-grid living situation, so from people residing in the mountains, to people living in the dessert, wetlands, caves, boats, cabins etc.. If you know any families that you think would be perfect for this, or you yourself are interested we would love to hear from you. If you’d like to talk please do let me know the best number I can reach you on for an informal, friendly, no obligation chat. The best email to reach me at is at [email protected] I hope to hear from you soon, Kind regards David

I know some people who live off of the grid. They live behind two locked gates about a mile off of the paved road and want their privacy. Even I have to get permission to visit. I think you may find that a certain number of people living off of the grid may not want their locations known. I do look forward to shows about this subject but it may be difficult to get permission to film.
