I was curious as to what standing seam metal roofs are going for in other parts?

ASC on the 16" Skyline roofing product sells for around $235 per square (100 square feet).

Lbear, I'm having a standing seam roof put on my project over the next three weeks. I'm paying over $300/sq., but that includes facia, gutters, and snow guards. Also includes having nearly half of it radiused which needs to have a guy come in from Denver with a special brake. It's also Kynar coated.

It depends on the roof. I paid over $775 per square. But is a multihip roof. It took a crew of four, over three weeks to install. It was not the low or high bid. Average for a simple roof in this area is $350 to $400

Whirnot, my price was materials only. Total cost is about $650/sq. for mine. About 50 sq.

Contemplating a standing seam roof as we speak.  Cost is $900.00 a square here, the roof is large and complex. This for 22 gauge galvalume painted with Kynar 500 over a continuous high temp ice and water underlayment. Aluminum is a little bit higher.

Buy 430 stainless steel on large coils for about $1.10 a pound. I suppose that 0.022 thickness would weight about 1 pound per square foot. But then you would have to rent a portable standing seam forming machine.

LBear, What's your timeline? I am waiting on an ASC Skyline quote that should be ready in a week or so. I have also approached ATAS about their Dutch seam product. I'm near Missoula, MT, and ATS comes from Mesa, AZ while the ASC comes from Spokane, WA. Is your $235 with shipping and trim? Aren't you in Texas? That would make shipping for the ASC product a long-haul. I'd be happy to provide the material bids once I have them.
As an aside, there is a 3rd supplier in Spokane, make a product similar to ASC. I just found out that my old neighbor in Spokane is a salesman there. If I can get a great price, I can certainly see if I can set you up on the same deal.

$450/sq is the going rate for ASC installed in southern OR. ASC and Bruce & Dana are the two most popular brands here.

We're also seeing about $450/SQ for basic roof shapes in NH. Multi-hipped-roof houses would be considerably higher.

They tried to get $900 - $1500/square here in WA for a quality 2" standing seam. Materials and labor actually ran about $600.

With a brutal winter here in Central Oregon, Ice dam damage is rampant.
My R55 insulation and standing seam roof is real inexpensive all of a sudden.

Ouch. These numbers are way way lower than what I paid (installed)... closer to $1000 a square for a steep but simple roof. I can't remember the brand of roofing at this time. Guess I should have shopped around for that one.
