Hello, we have an earth dome is SW Florida (2400sf) that we are finalizing the construction. The home has two ERVs (still deciding on the in line dehumidifier) and the home design calls for three mini splits (one in each barrel vault). The home is covered with earth with a minimum of three feet to a a maximum of 15 feet. We are thinking getting only a couple of mini splits for now. We can add on later. What do you guys like? We are considering the Mitsubishi's. Not sure which model and also not sure if one for multi room is better. Thanks and cheers to all.

If design calls for 3 minisplits, you can have 3 1 head units or 1 three head unit. If you are thinking about getting a couple, get a 3 head and you can add a head later, if line lengths work out.

If you are putting it up with walls that thick you may want to run pipes for the pressurized lines, electric, and drain lines now while everything is open. Just cap them and leave them. It may save you the expense of paying an HVAC guy to drill 15 foot holes through the walls later. Are you running conduits in the perimeter walls for data and power lines?
