I've seen it used in several specialty builds where chemical and materials sensitivity for the owner were an issue.
If you're using it as sub-flooring, it generally has a bit more "give" than plywood or OSB. This can result in a subfloor system that's a bit more "springy", but not necessarily dangerous.

So, if possible, spec slightly thicker on the panels or double up.

Sounds like a sales pitch.

everyone uses it in showers even though last I checked it wasn't UL listed or an option in the code books. There is also some horror stories when using it for SIPS, they may have gotten through those issues but I wouldn't chance it on a whole house build.
