Looking for some stone wall help! I have a little stone cottage in Westport that was concrete rendered on the outside 😦 Most of it has been flying off... except for the gable end. They must have used the toughest concrete mix known to man on this wall, because it's welded on and just wont budge. A kango barely scrapes the surface, and I'm worried about damaging the stone underneath. Does anyone have any thoughts on alternative ways to get the concrete off or at least weaken it? If we do need to keep the concrete - any thoughts on how we need to treat the wall? We're planning on lime/cork rendering the rest of the exterior of the cottage, and a lime render on the interior. Thanks!
